Rameswaram, 28th July (UNI): Central Home Minister Amit Shah, while campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections in Tamil Nadu on Friday, declared the ‘most corrupt’ government in the country to be the ‘DMK’ government. Today, Shri Shah launched the state-wide 1,700-kilometer-long yatra of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), titled ‘En Mann, En Makka’l (My Land, My People),’ aiming to ensure Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s return to power for the third consecutive time in the 2024 elections. During the event, he stated, ‘One of the ministers in the DMK government, who was arrested by the ED (Enforcement Directorate) in a money laundering case and is still in jail, is functioning as a minister without a portfolio.’
He also mentioned that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin is not seeking his resignation from the ministerial post because if he resigns, all the information about corruption will come to light. Shah added that if someone talks about the Durmukh government and the Congress, their mind will be occupied only with coal and the 2G scam.
The ‘En Mann, En Makka’l’ yatra aims to liberate Tamil Nadu from dynastic politics, corruption, and improve the law and order situation in the state. It will illuminate Tamil culture, and under the leadership of Tamil Nadu BJP Chief K. Annamalai, establish Prime Minister Modi’s nationalism across the state.
