Chennai. On Sunday, at the Bhagwan Parshva padmavati Gaushala in the village of Tadlam, Sriperumbudur town, the Seervi Samaj Seva Sangh Women’s Group from Ramapuram performed the worship, aarti, and bhajan-kirtan of the GauMata (Cows).

Every month on the day of Amavasya, on Mondays during the month of Sawan (monsoon season), and during festivals like Navratri, the women of Seervi Samaj Seva Sangh Ramapuram gather and perform bhajan-kirtan at various households. The funds collected from these gatherings are donated to the Gaushala for the service of cows. Over the past several years, these women have accumulated a significant amount through bhajan-kirtan and have been using it to provide green fodder, jaggery, sweet porridge, bananas, vegetables, and fruits to the GauMata (cows) in the Gaushala every year.

Today, a large number of women, after serving the GauMata, gathered at the Gaushala to perform bhajan-kirtan. During this event, they sang devotional songs such as “Choti Choti Gaiyaan,” “Nand Gopal Natkhat,” and “Jhulo Jhulo Radha Rani” dedicated to Lord Shri Krishna and Radha Rani. The children dressed as little Krishnas and Radhas added to the charm of the event. The women danced while dressed as Lord Krishna and Radha, presenting a splendid display.

In attendance at this event were esteemed social workers, including Shri Jayaram Ji Hambad, Shri Bhavar Lal Ji Parihar, Shri Jitendra Gehlot, Shri Dharmi Chand Barfa, Shri Andaram Pawar, Shri Mohanlal Kag, Shri Kevalram Kag, Shri Suresh Sindda, Shri Mahendra Gehlot, and others.
