Inter Miami defeated Philadelphia 4-1, securing their place in the finals of the League’s Cup football tournament. Messi scored a goal in the 20th minute.
The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner and Argentina’s World Cup champion, Messi, marked his ninth goal for his new team in six matches. Thanks to Messi’s performance, tickets for this match were sold for more than a thousand dollars.
Now, Miami will face either Nashville or Mexican club Monterrey in the finals.
