Chennai, August 1 (UNI): India’s third lunar exploration mission, Chandrayaan3, successfully entered the lunar sphere of influence on Tuesday and is functioning normally as a spacecraft.
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) tweeted today, “The spacecraft is functioning normally.”
They added, “Today’s Periselene Burn has increased Chandrayaan 3’s orbit to 369,328 km, 288 km x 369,328 km successfully.”
ISRO stated, “With this orbit, the spacecraft enters the lunar sphere of influence.”

Before this, ISRO had informed that Chandrayaan 3 was completing its orbit around Earth and progressing towards the Moon.
They said that Chandrayaan 3 will enter the lunar orbit on August 5 in the next phase.
